DLM Forum Members' Meeting, Ljubljana, 8-11 May 2023

Our next members’ meeting will take place on 10-11 May 2023 in Ljubljana and hosted by the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia. Before the main event, on 8-9 May, the 3rd Geospatial Digital Records Preservation Conference will be held. The Archiving by Design meeting is scheduled for 12 May.

The call for papers for the Ljubljana meeting is open. The theme of the meeting is “Digital Data and Change Management”.

The entire lifecycle of digital data is impacted by technological, organizational, legislative and other changes, which most of us have in one way or another encountered in our work.

Suggested scope for contributions:
  • Implementation of new technologies;
  • Challenges related to the new data types;
  • Identification of risks and their management;
  • Change management: lessons learned and best practices;
  • Raising awareness among stakeholders (data producers, service and solution providers).

We would like the meeting to be as interactive, diverse and inclusive as possible, so different types of contributions (papers, lightning talks, posters, roundtables, workshops) are welcome.

Please use the extended abstract form below to introduce your suggested topic to the organising team. Don't forget to indicate on the form your preferred presentation format for the members' meeting.
