Secretariat to the DLM Forum |
ResponsibilitiesThe Secretariat to the DLM Forum is the organisation that provides the administrative hub for the DLM Forum. Contracted directly by the Executive Committee the secretariat undertakes the following duties: - Managing the membership of the forum and initiating membership drives
- Responding to general enquiries from institutions and members of the public
- General correspondence
- Distributing information to members including news and events
- Marketing, advertising and representing the DLM Forum
- Management of any legal matters
- Maintaining the DLM Forum Web site
- Coordinating sub-committees such as the MoReq Governance Board
- Arranging meetings and liaising with host countries
- Conference administration and event management
- Financial control over the DLM Forum’s funds including the payment of invoices, fees and charges
- Reporting to members twice a year at biannual members meetings
- Attending and reporting to Executive Committee meetings
- Producing and publishing the DLM Forum’s Annual Report
- Other administrative duties as required
Meet the secretariatIn March 2010, the Executive Committee appointed Weathervane Consult to provide the service of Secretariat to the DLM Forum. (From 2004 to 2009 Secretariat services were provided by AIIM Europe and from 2009 to 2010 by In-Form Consult). Weathervane Consult is an independent information management consultancy company located in a rural setting in leafy Chorleywood, outside London. The secretariat is led by Martin Waldron.
